e have been building this behemoth of a MKII Golf for a number of years now and it is not only our pride and joy, but it exists as inspiration to many car enthusiasts alike. The car started life many years ago as a Golf Driver 1.8l but once we had taken ownership, the modifications began swiftly and the re-birth as the Style Dynamics demo car, had taken place.

The first suite of modifications was to incorporate a custom electric sunroof into the roof and then shortly afterwards, we had the front headlights custom retrofitted with USDM headlights to create a truly one-off appearance.

We were pleased with the condition of the overall paintwork, especially given the age of the car, so we decided to retain the original Montana Green coachwork and simply apply hours upon hours of our expert detailing skills into giving the paint finish a fresh lease of life.

During the many iterations of paintwork detailing, we set about having some 3-piece BBS RS wheels fitted to the car, along with a set of KW Variant 3 coil overs to bring a more aggressive appearance to the car, as well as provide much more controlled handling under track conditions.

After winning a couple of show & shine awards, it was time to take the Golf to the next level. That came in the form of an Audi S3 engine conversion. We completed the conversion along with a low-ratio gearbox from a MKIV Golf diesel in order to aid with better traction off the line as well as to make the best use of the engines new-found mid-range power band. The conversion was finished off with a full bespoke wire tuck by ourselves, as well as digital dash conversion.

Our demo Golf is subject to constant evolution, but at the time of writing this post, the car is capable of 0-62mph in under 5 seconds and can complete the standing quarter in 12.6 seconds @111mph.
